I look forward to working with you to promote change and achieve the goals you want to obtain.

I strive to have a calm, warm demeanor when working with clients. You will find a compassionate and goal-oriented approach when you work with me.

Good mental health is essential for everyone, just as it is crucial to keep our bodies healthy.

My personal and professional experience is diverse.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have served in various roles, including psychiatric technician, residential supervisor, residential director, medical social worker, and crisis intervention specialist for the Utah State Crisis Line (988).

I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults, providing compassionate support and crisis interventions during some of their most challenging moments.

My professional expertise is complemented by firsthand experiences with loss, divorce, grief, and caregiving for a loved one with cancer, allowing me to bring a deep sense of empathy and understanding to my work.

My professional background is strong and varied.

My education includes a Bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Utah, a Master’s degree in psychology and guidance counseling from Utah State University, and a second Master’s in social work from Arkansas State University.

I have worked with individuals struggling with the following issues:

  • Addictions/Dual Diagnosis
  • Body Image
  • Marriage/Divorce/Relationship Issues
  • Medical Stress
  • Mood Disorders
  • Parenting Issues
  • Suicidal Ideation
  • Trauma and Abuse
  • Women’s Issues
  • And many others!

My activities outside the office are diverse.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my children, ages 24, 20, and 15, and our two dogs, Teddy and Coco.

I enjoy going to movies and concerts, playing games, hiking, bike riding, exploring national parks, and traveling.
